Move over, Bert and Ernie: there’s a new odd couple in town! Exuberant Peanut and steadfast Moe are roommates and best friends . . . most of the time.
Peanut is messy. Moe is neat.
Peanut is loud. Moe is quiet.
Peanut always wants more. Moe always wants a little less.
Can these two learn to appreciate their differences?
With bright, bold, eye-catching illustrations and two adorable characters, Gina Perry has created a book that will appeal to all the Peanuts and Moes in the world — whether they think it’s too much or not enough!
Too Much! Not Enough! tells us about two friends, Peanut and Moe. Although they are very different in many ways, they become fast friends. It is such a fun and educational read for children. Even though the children do not actually realise it at first, there is a message there. Oh and the colorful and wonderful illustrations are absolutely over the top, and it makes the book that much more fun to read. I was offered an advanced copy of this book to read and review, and the opinions are my own. Read it, your children will love it!
Gina Perry is an author and illustrator working under the tall pines in New Hampshire. She grew up in Massachusetts, drawing, playing with yarn, and burning through all the books in the library. Gina went to Syracuse University and worked in animation and as an art director before realizing that children’s books were her true calling. Her picture book debut as author/illustrator, Small (little bee books, 2017), is an empowering story about a small girl in the city, who shows us what happens if you take one big and brave step. Future books include Too Much Not Enough (Tundra, Summer 2018) and a yet untitled picture book (Tundra, Summer 2019).
