My #Book Review Of Let’s Get Ready For Bed By Michael W. Smith

What a wonderful story for children at bedtime“. 51aXbQiNqCL

It begins with Eddie the bear and Lambie the sheep looking for Sleepy Puppy. They set off to find Sleepy Puppy getting ready for bed; he was taking his bath with bubbles and all. He continues to get ready for bed by putting on his soft fuzzy pj’s, and brushing his teeth.

And then he kneels down to say his prayers, a book he thought is just what he needs before bed but he’s too young to read, so he gets laughter from the cow jumping over the moon.

Finally, he is done with his bedtime routine, he hops into bed, but finds he can’t sleep, he wonders if he forgot something, or did something wrong then he remembered he’s missing a song.

Then his two friends standing there by the door tell him they would be happy to sing him a song to sleep, and it sure did the trick Sleepy Puppy fell off to sleep.

My #Book Review Of #God’s Blessings Day By Day Devotional For Kids

The devotion’s are very well written in a way that even the youngest of your children will easily understand the message. At the top of the pages they list a Bible verse, then it goes on to explain what the verse means with real life examples, then there is a prayer at the end. Every page has wonderful illustrations of an animal on it.  It is a hardcover book, so it is sure to last a lifetime of enjoyment for your child.I highly recommend this devotional.

The devotions are going to easily grab your child’s attention , at least it did for my grandchildren, from ages 13 to 3 years old. Each one of them enjoyed the devotions, and what they really liked is the fact that it is small enough that even the younger ones will have no trouble carrying it with them to church or even just at home. I received a complimentary copy through Booklook Bloggers and my review are my thoughts, and my grandchildren’s thoughts.
